Turkey’s GDP in 2017 was US$769.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3%, and its per capita GDP was US$9,647.

It is located at the eastern end of the Balkan Peninsula, on the west bank of the South Bosphorus Strait, and the entrance to the Black Sea. It is a transportation hub for Europe and Asia.
